Manifold Viewer (64-bit) - Manifold Viewer is the free, read-only version of Manifold System Release 9, a new package that blends geospatial and traditional data manipulation for Geographic Information System (GIS), DBMS (database management system), visualization, analytics, editing and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) functionality within a single package. Viewer runs fully parallel on all CPU cores and all GPU cores in your system, which allows visualization of raster, DBMS, and vector data in the hundreds of gigabytes on ordinary desktop PCs, while still allowing panning and zooming of such large data sets with 1/10th second screen redisplay.
Viewer knows over 7500 coordinate systems and projections, including all EPSG systems, transformations, and datums, and can reproject rasters or vectors between any of those systems, enabling Viewer to display geospatial data layers together from any of hundreds of different file formats, database systems, and web server sources, including standards including WMS, WMTS, WFS, TMS, GeoJSON, and ArcGIS REST. Viewer provides many-layered maps that can reproject on the fly any layer to fit in geospatial context with layers that use other coordinate systems.
Use Viewer to connect to ESRI geodatabases, to view shapefiles and other GIS formats that are too large or too slow to view in non-parallel software, and to view very large images that are too slow in conventional viewers. Connect as a client to Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, IBM DB2 and other databases to extract, transform, analyze and visualize data, running either the DBMS's own native SQL or spatial SQL in Viewer or a mixture of both.
Viewer also includes the full range of point-and-click transforms and templates to manipulate data in tables, imagery, vector geometry and databases, as well as full spatial SQL with hundreds of functions. All Viewer functions, including SQL, are fully and automatically CPU parallel and GPU parallel. If you have 15 cores in your processor and 1000 cores in your GPU, Viewer can use all of them for faster analytics even with bigger data. Viewer can pan and zoom images with hundreds of GB in 1/10th second on a typical desktop machine.Over 600 topics with over 9000 illustrations in the user manual provide tutorials and know-how.
